You read it right… Google has delisted one of my BANS sites that was showing Google adsense!

The really weird part of the delisting is that the site in question, more than 9 months old, was NOT just a replica of hundreds of other BANS sites, and was rather popular and unique, with more than 400 unique visitors a day! I won’t link it in this post, to avoid bringing further attention to the matter.
In addition to the BANS site, a different site not using BANS was also brought …

Earlier this week, I wrote a post about the PepperJam Affiliate Network signing on to deliver content through the eBay Partner Network. Today, many of us were notified by Adam and Kelvin, Developers of the Build a Niche Store affiliate software, that there will be new version of BANS available very soon, that will work in conjunction with the PepperJam Network.
To us… this means that there will be a way to use BANS with the PepperJam EPN Program! (I can hear screams of joy!)
The first question we must all ask ourselves is WHY? Why would …

Just a quick post to let you all know I got an email today from WordTracker…
Dear Mark,
We recently launched a promotion offering new subscribers unlimited 7 day access to the full version of Wordtracker for FREE. This promotion has been very successful to date as it has allowed many more people experience how Wordtracker Keyword Research can greatly benefit their online marketing efforts.
Anyhow… I have had several readers ask if WordTracker was really worth the money, now is your chance to try wordtracker for free!
Edit: From what I am hearing, …

I recently had a question from John, asking how you can use BANS to generate brand specific product pages.
One of the most common fears we all have (or SHOULD have) as affiliate website owners, is that we will infringe on a “Brand” or “Trademark”! In other words… some of the manufacturers are very specific in how they allow their products to be marketed and usage of the “Brand Name” is forbidden very often! Victoria’s Secret for instance, does not even allow its wholesale warehouses to use their name in marketing of the …

It looks as though the concern over EPN tracking issues may have been for a good reason!
Tonight as I browsed around, I landed on the EPN forum site and a post with an Update to EPN Tracking!
2) We have also found a discrepancy in the way ACRUs were attributed to affiliates on Commission Junction vs. now with eBay Partner Network…. We are still calculating the magnitude of the impact, but preliminary estimates are that we have missed 8-10% of the ACRUs this way since we launched in April.
In looking through …

LONG POST WARNING – Writing this review was exhausting and it took quite a bit of time to get all the results in this post. It is long but very informative! If you prefer to skip right down to the conclusion of this Niche Store Writer Review, click here

Check Your SERPs!
Guest Post By Mark Speener
If you had paid for an advertisement in a local newspaper, you would check your ad for accuracy because it’s the first impression given a potential customer. You should also be checking your SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) for the same reason.
You can’t decide what goes there, but, you can see what the search engines have chosen then you can try to manipulate what they are showing your potential customers.
One thing you’re going to need is an analytics package like Google Analytics or Awstats …

I recently had a few very good questions via email that deserve a post. Randy wanted to know:
Is there a Post for Understanding your LogFiles on an Affiliate Site?
… and Arthur asked:
How will I know when to Start Adding New Content and Make Changes to my Niche Website?
I have actually spent 2 days recording a screen capture for this post. I was unhappy with the results and deleted it, at least 5 times! Instead, I am going to write it all out… there is a link to the unedited video at the bottom of this post as well.
How can I Understand …
