Since entering the top 100, I get at least 35-50 visitors from it every day!

I have spent most of the day today in a hospital with Kim… she had to have a bit of emergency surgery, and had her Gallbladder removed. Most of this post was written in the waiting room…
Yesterday, I wrote a review of the newest plugin for wordpress, WPBans. I can see by the feedback, I was not the only person who felt it fell short of expectations… at least from the perspective of the more desirable advanced features.
The one thing I think we can ALL agree on however is that …
A Plugin for BANS and WordPress? Yes, something we have all expressed interest in has finally been completed! On Weds, I got an email from the developer, Casey at WPBans, letting me know that Kelvin had recommended he get in touch to check out the new tool in our arsenal of BANS products!
To say the least, I was excited about finally having a way to seamlessly integrate BANS and WordPress, without the headaches of merging BANS WordPress templates, multiple applications etc. Unfortunately, My excitement was short lived!

So… last night, myself and couple friends got together for Poker Night… Poker night is nothing more than a night of drinking and talking about current events etc. Well, for some reason, we decided to kill a bottle of Crown Royal last night in light of the George Bush news conference! Poker led to another game, Monopoly, to see who could bust the bank first by borrowing the most money and then foreclosing on all their properties. Whether it was the bottle of crown or the irresponsible lending practices we set for the bank, …
Let me start this post with a friendly message of warning – DO NOT install plugins just because someone else uses them! As I said last week when I wrote about How to Install a WordPress Plugin, you are going to find thousands of plugins and likely more than enough lists of the plugins people use on their own sites. Every site is different and will have different needs for the visitors. Only install a plugins you need… save yourself some headaches!
In yesterdays post, we looked at Building WordPress Categories that make Sense to our visitors, in order to get them to the targeted information they were seeking, in the shortest amount of time and fewest clicks of the mouse. Today, we are going to write our very first post! Since there is already a generic post written for us during the Installation of WordPress, we are going to use that post as the baseline for our own.
Throughout last week as we continued our focus on How to Build a Website with WordPress, we have covered the basics of several key areas. From installing WordPress to adding your first plugin, and most currently, adding your first page to WordPress, I am trying to go very slow and methodical through the series in order to allow everyone time to understand the basics, before we get into the fun stuff! I want to thank everyone for participating and adding your own experiences and tips along the way! Today, I …
