50 Page RankSpanker Blueprint Sample!
Since mentioning my Niche Builder Services last week, I have answered several of your questions regarding the RankSpanker Report. The most common question is actually… “What Is It, and How Will it Help Me?” The easiest way to envision the RankSpanker, is to look at it like a Niche Site Blueprint.
So… Instead of explaining what it is… I figured I would simply provide an example report for you to see! If you don’t subscribe to the RSS feed… someone probably owns what is written on this page already! The same thing happened when I did this at the N1WayGuide RankSpanker page. The domains and content examples were gobbled up within 1-2 hours of being posted.
RankSpanker Blueprint – Board Games
As you work on building your new board game website, you want it to be a resource for visitors to come and LEARN about the different games, their history, related games, etc. Â Your actual GAME PAGES (listed below) are your ultimate landing pages for converting visitors to buyers and thus money, so you should funnel traffic to those pages at every chance you get!
The Types of Board Games and Top Board Game Guides are going to be the levers that drive traffic to your site with the most inquisitive types of traffic, (People looking for answers) funnel them to the games pages!
I would build the site in a WordPress backend of pages and posts, then monetize through ePN, Amazon, Various Datafeed sites (the board games and accessories) as well as a few CPA targets for online game sites ($15-$30 per signup) by including the online versions of each game, with a signup link.

Great stuff Mark.
After you did the first rankspankers reports, I started doing this for my sites too and it works wonders to have a plan right there in front of you.
I recommend everyone to get one of these from Mark – they are dynamite sites in a box!
@Tao – Most definitely does Tao! I wish I had built one of these for every site I ever built… the time you spend BEFORE actually building is the most important!
Thanks for the good word also!
Mark
Thanks Mark! I confess to having ‘gobbled up’ the first two domains :-)
In return, as soon as I make enough from the sites, I promise to buy something from or through you by way of appreciation.
Ian.
@Ian – Surprised they lasted as long as they did Ian! Congrats on getting them…
Watch often – I am probably going to do this a few times each month.
Mark
Thanks Mark,
More great info!! You have been one of my biggest assets in learning this stuff.
And I couldn’t resist I grabbed the other two domains..
Thank again
I don’t know why you did this. Good teaser. I have a Board Game domain that is over 6 years old that’ve I’ve been waiting to build. You got me saying – hmmmmmm. Dam. My lightbulb has been going off for quite awhile.
What’s that past theory – is Posts or Pages better? I remember we talked about that before here around last year sometime, was it Pages? Using posts for a feed of data from outside sources or a running blog to link to your pages?
@Sean – LOL, a new weekly feature, where I am going to publish one of these often!
Pages versus posts?
Pages = Conversions, Money Pages! (Last stop before making money)
Posts = Funnels, Teaser Pages! (Funnel the readers to the PAGES)
Mark
@Mark Hansen – I think that’s my problem. I started off doing that on a couple of sites with an Arthemia theme, then started using the Church theme, then just kept using the Posts for individual products instead of Pages. Kinda strayed away from the Pages format. Time to revisit it and go back to my original formula.
I can see why some sites are doing better than others. Sometimes we stray from what works to try new things.
Thanks. – Sean.
