Got something to say?
Posting tweet...
perfect timing for a halloween theme :)
A Halloween theme, that was a cool idea. I have to hang out on your site more. I have a lot more to learn about niches.
I am doing my first niche/autopilot site now and want to do a bunch more!
I was born on Halloween, i AM a theme haha
Thanks for the tip Mark!
Ben produced a pretty cool looking Halloween template, thanks for letting us know Mark.
May not be the correct place to post this request-I have never at this stage advertised my ban stores on Google adwords, other sites not associated with Bans I have and it has helped-is it safe to do that or will Google wipe me and what about Ebay will they also close me up-maybe a silly question -however I took all Adsense off my Ban stores as well-maybe I am just getting to nervous for my own good
This is a great Halloween theme. Very classy and nice colors.
What I would like to find is something on the site about incorporating bans with other wordpress themes. I see the templates available for a select few themes, and that looks great.
but what if i find the perfect WP theme … and I need to “blend” it with bans … what’s it gonna take on my part?
@ ben - i’d love to see your other themes
@ mark thanks for the great site
@ kim - get well soon

I actually started this series in early August. Merging WordPress with BANS Templates
I would LOVE to say it was a great series, but my daily pageviews dropped by more than 80% and I felt it may have been a bit too advanced for almost all of my readers.
It is started however and the first section includes a walkthrough from start to finish of converting a template. Many have used the 22 minute video in the introduction post, to start developing their own.
Heres the key…. if the introduction post video is too confusing, the rest gets harder!

In fact it looks like you have abandoned the series, searching for the next posts of which I still keep coming to your site… but for how long!
This was the best series you ever started!
I agree with GB Singh.. Seems that when something good like “Merging Wordpress with Bans Templates” was started it looked like you were on the right track..all of a sudden you fall off the cliff.
I am not seeing any of these projects go through to the end.. It seems your are skipping from place to place. Do not worry about page views. It will come … just try to stay on track…
Thanks/ Dave
Mark and all-
Question: Checked my Google webmaster tools today for my Wordpress/BANS site, and it had not only added the RSS feed to the list of submitted sitemaps, but had 5 errors associated with it. This has me confused on several fronts, so looking for guidance.
1) is your RSS feed URL considered a Sitemap to Google like the sitemap you submit?
2) if my RSS feed is automatically being generated by WordPress, how can you fix the errors (the errors are things like ‘invalid URL’ and ‘too many tags’ and ‘invalid attributes’.
thanks in advance.
@ Glenn -
Your RSS feed is not your sitemap xml.
If you have installed the Google XML Sitemaps plugin, it will have the url listed in the plugin.
Its generally, mysite.com /sitemap.xml

Mark-
thanks for the reply. I am using the Google XML Sitemap plugin and its creating a perfectly good mysite.com/sitemap, which I’ve submitted to google with no issues.
But for some reason google added mysite.com/feed as another sitemap in its listed sitemaps in webmasters tools (with errors).
maybe I should just delete it?

I would remove the /feed/ entry if it is listed on your sitemap index with GWT.
