I have jumped in and bought the name for 2 years. For the price, if it a wrong decision it doesn’t matter much.

If you have a 50k search term with little BANS competition, that is great!! You do however want to look at a few more factors before jumping on it…

TeraPeak sales data – check sell through rate.

If your keyword tool has a search KEI or competition search, I would check that as well. Even though there are 50,000 searches, if there are 1,000,000 pages being targeted by others, it will still be a challenging niche.

All being said… with volume like that, I would likely jump it!! :-)

I know exactly how you feel about which route to take, been there myself! I would buy both domains and actually put very similar sites on each. Make them different enough to avoid a duplicate content issue, but if ti is a good niche, you will do fine with both!
