Mark, Great video, much easier to follow than the BANS manual.

At the end of the wk3 video, one of the tasks is to register the new website at CJ. You have struck this out and noted that it has been changed to reflect EPN Network Changes, but the link is not active.

Where is the updated information for registering the website with EPN? Do I just start a new campaign and use the Campaign ID?

Thanks for the help,

Mark, thanks you very much for your great help!
I've got a dilemma. I don't know if it is better to concetrate on one small niche within a category or create a store for a whole category?
Thanks again,

Sorry, Mark, I meant to say in the last post - if you could give a reminder when to fill in the blueprint at each stage it would be helpful - I nearly missed a bunch of stuff this evening (maybe because I was multi-tasking...) but sometimes, being a first-timer, I wasn't sure when to write stuff down and where exactly it should go - I'm sure your blueprint makes total sense to you, but to a newbie it may not be exactly obvious what to do in each section.

Anyway, just a thought - totally loving it still!

Thanks.<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('2235','Marilla'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('2235','Marilla','Sorry, Mark, I meant to say in the last post - if you could give a reminder when to fill in the blueprint at each stage it would be helpful - I nearly missed a bunch of stuff this evening (maybe because I was multi-tasking...) but sometimes, being a first-timer, I wasn\'t sure when to write stuff down and where exactly it should go - I\'m sure your blueprint makes total sense to you, but to a newbie it may not be exactly obvious what to do in each section.\r\n\r\nAnyway, just a thought - totally loving it still!\r\n\r\nThanks.'); return false;">Quote</a></div>

Hey Mark

Just finished going through the video and I'm so thrilled that you made all of this part of the process so simple - it's the part I wasn't looking forward to, having read the BANS manual. I'm a visual learner, so being able to see exactly what you were doing was fantastic. I can't believe I've achieved so much in front of the tv! I managed to hang out with my husband, pet the cat a little, catch a movie and get all of this done at the same time. It really is a joy to listen to you talk and show us through it. I only had to check the manual once when the video skipped a little.

Thanks again!<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('2234','Marilla'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('2234','Marilla','Hey Mark\r\n\r\nJust finished going through the video and I\'m so thrilled that you made all of this part of the process so simple - it\'s the part I wasn\'t looking forward to, having read the BANS manual.
@ Keith -

I will be doing several of the videos over due to a sound issue I did not find until they were all live.

To briefly answer your questions:

1) The server space is the only reason I delete mine. It is just an extra 2.25 megs of space on the box, truly, just my own preference.

2) In regard to your second site, there is no separate cPanel admin. The BANS admin however is just like your original store. Once domain propagation takes place, you should be able to to go mysite.com/admin/

3) For ALL add-on domains, hostgator creates a folder in the main public_html directory. That folder is the root directory of your new add on domain. ALL BANS files need to go inside, just like it was your public_html folder.

Excellent video - wish I had it when I installed my first store.

But it raised a few questions: I installed that first store several months back and used the video to help install a second store today. If at all possible, can you do a second video that walks you through the second, third, etc. sites? I added quite a few gray hairs with the confusion over which files to upload and where.

A few questions:
1) Beyond "saving server space," why would I delete the db (database.sql) that I just created - or am I missing something?
2) Most importantly, I can't find the admin panel for this second/new site. I can easily get to the panel for the first - but where's the new bans control panel?
3) It seems to be working, but can you confirm that when creating a second (or third) site, that the files (cont folder, index.php, themes, scripts folder, etc.) are to be copied not to the "public html" folder specifically, but directly to the folder (now within the public html folder) with the same name as the new site? (The folder I assume was placed there automatically by HostGator.)

Thanks again - I'm loving the series...<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('2024','Keith'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('2024','Keith','Excellent video - wish I had it when I installed my first store.\r\n\r\nBut it raised a few questions: I installed that first store several months back and used the video to help install a second store today.

Excellent video – wish I had it when I installed my first store.

But it raised a few questions: I installed that first store several months back and used the video to help install a second store today. If at all possible, can you do a second video that walks you through the second, third, etc. sites? I added quite a few gray hairs with the confusion over which files to upload and where.

A few questions:
1) Beyond “saving server space,” why would I delete the db (database.sql) that I just created – or am I missing something?
2) Most importantly, I can’t find the admin panel for this second/new site. I can easily get to the panel for the first – but where’s the new bans control panel?
3) It seems to be working, but can you confirm that when creating a second (or third) site, that the files (cont folder, index.php, themes, scripts folder, etc.) are to be copied not to the “public html” folder specifically, but directly to the folder (now within the public html folder) with the same name as the new site? (The folder I assume was placed there automatically by HostGator.)

@ Andy -

EVERY time you build a new niche store, you should enter the site into info CJ and get a new PID number for that specific site. You DO NOT need to reapply for the eBay program, each new site is automatically accepted based on your original.

The separate site PID codes allow you to track site performance individually.

Hi
Does your PID number change with each site you register with CJ?
What if you want to use your PID number in other sites that are not registered with CJ?
Thanks
