See the extra slash in the url? That leads me to think your main page has no filename.

Social forums and blogs are GREAT for backlinks!! Forum signatures are a wonderful place for backlinks since they are usually across several IP blocks.

When looking for blogs to comment on, google the term “do-follow blogs” and try to post on those first… do follow means the search engines will follow the links.
