Build a Niche Store - Step by Step Blueprint for Success!

February 14, 2008

I wish I had a nickel for every time I’ve been asked if I had a print ready worksheet that could be used for building a niche store. Well, ask and you shall receive… The document linked below is exactly what you need! From start to finish, you can use this worksheet to help you take notes and develop your niche store, in a very structured and methodical fashion!

I suggest you save this file to your hard drive, print off a fresh copy and use it for EVERY new niche site you build! As you read through this nicheĀ site blueprint, there will probably be a few areas you don’t fully understand if you go too quickly through the Build a Niche Store Empire series. On the other hand… Once you have completed the series just one time, it will be very clear!

Version 1.0 - Niche Store Blueprint for Success

If you wish to link to this file from your own server, please link directly to this post versus direct to the file.

On another note - Once this Empire series is completed, I will be transferring the entire context of the series to video! The Niche Store Empire video series will cover ALL steps in this series from the beginning to the end!

Thanks, enjoy!

Mark

    Mark,
What a great gift you have created for us. Thank you. People like me are awed by your organizational skills. A road map on 4 pages. This should keep me on track and focused.

Used the Blueprint for the first time today on one site and it was super helpful. It assists in keeping you focused and avoid the tempataion of being side-tracked. The next step is laid out before you.

The recent video answered a couple of questions I had about deleting the databse.sql and protecting directories.

An invaluable aid to future growth.

Mark, any chance of a copy of the file (in non pdf format) so we can adapt the layout of the blueprint for other projects???

I was under the impression that eBay’s TOS requires users to Display an eBay Logo somewhere on the bans site. I notice that some templates don’t do this. Just trying to wade through the muck & mire! Could someone please take the time to reply to my email addy to give an answer on this. Mostly I prefer not to display
the logo, but I also want to be paid! Thanks for your gr8 site. I will Lurk now & then, but I am busy building sites and learning BANS right now. Your work sheet is excellent, and I appreciate the numerous camtasia vidz! I will be building about 100 sites so I will be very busy, but I hope to leave you some camtasia vidz as wellwhen done,
Please keep up your good work here. There is room for many more as over the next few years it is forecast that 80 Billion people will access the Internet for their first time.

The worksheet is great. Likely I’ll move it to a spreadsheet. I can automate some tasks with WinTask and grabbing spreadsheet data is easy to automate with keystrokes.

This is a great worksheet!!! I am curious where we get the eBay ad for new buyers with the EPN in place?

Also, I couldn’t find the link for the Excel format of this sheet.

    Thanks,
    Shawn

In reviewing the worksheet, in step 3 you have a check boxs for Protect Directories. Is this a step I perform within my hosting service or within BANS?

    Thanks,
    Shawn

    Hi Mark,

Thank you for worksheet, it is a very valuable tool to use to remain organized.

A quick question, at the top right hand side, you have “CJ PID”, would you explain what that means for us newbies?

    Thanks,

    Jason

Got something to say?
