Not sure how many of you are in the Shopping.com affiliate program, but they just released the 2010 Holiday rate card and several of the  category payouts have increased in EPC from Nov 15th-Dec 31.

235 categories will remain flat
19 categories will increase by 10%
35 categories will increase by 25%

In addition to these holiday payout increases, the Home and Garden category has a permanent increase! :-)

One word comes to mind… Wow. The new Google (new this week anyhow) changes have resulted in changes in traffic trends all around the horn. Some sites are flat, some are doing a bit worse (A few webmasters have mentioned seeing around a 20% drop) and on one of mine that is actually rather thin… went stupid crazy busy!

Used to rank 5th-8th for the 2-word money phrase (A pretty hard nut to crack) and got about approx 200 daily uniques on that phrase alone!

Interestingly, Amazon announced in an email overnight that they are changing the way the product API works, and it will no longer return a list of customer reviews. Instead, there will be a simple link over to the actual reviews by the Amazon customers, on the Amazon site.
This means some change in the way reviews are used on your site as well… and with the new format, it seems the only way to show the actual reviews on your site is going to be in an iframe.
