Continuing along with a theme about the latest Google Mayday algorithm update, another one of the other standout metrics that has really struck back at me, is the site link profile, both in and outbound!
This latest round of algo changes really takes the old adage that “ANY backlink is better than none at all”, and tosses it right into the sewer! In fact, low quality links may actually hurt more than they help! As if we didn’t see this coming right?

I know… I’ve been kinda quiet lately! I am going to post a couple of “How I do it” posts this week… from increasing backlinks, to increasing subscribers. Aside from spending quite alot of time out of town over the past 3 weeks, I have been very focused on increasing the popularity of a few of my “Keeper” sites, to help make up for any revenue loss I may experience on the sites I eliminate. Before I start showing a few of the ways you can, I want to reiterate one very specific thing… Do not Spam other Blogs with Comments! You will do nothing more than have your comments deleted and may even piss off the site owner. One way or another, it is nothing more than wasting your own time… and as we all know, time is the one thing we do not want to waste!
