Installing the Chimera BANS Theme with a Blog in the Root of your Domain

Installation of this theme pack assumes you have already installed the WordPress blog platform to the root of your new or existing domain. In addition, you have already installed your BANS store into a subfolder of the public_html directory. Ex:

www.yourwebsite.com/ (Brings up the WordPress blog)
www.yourwebsite.com/shop/ (Brings up your BANS site, can be named anything you desire)

STEP 1 - Upload the Files to your Domain
******************************************************************************************

1 - The files included in the "shop" folder are to be uploaded to your BANS store directory.

• inc-store-menu.php
  This file goes directly into the root of your BANS STORE. If your store is installed in a /shop/ folder, (www.mydomain.com/shop/) this file should resolve immediately inside the store folder.
  
  
• /themes/NSB_Chimera/ Folder
  This theme folder goes inside your BANS Themes folder, with your others themes.
  

3 - The files in the /wp-content/themes/Chimera/ folder go inside your blog's theme folder (Inside /wp-content/themes/ )

STEP 2 - Configure the BANS Theme files
******************************************************************************************

1 - Edit /shop/themes/NSB_Chimera/header.php in your BANS theme directory and change the following TOP line of code:

//bansurl MUST be the location of your bans store folder with NO trailing slash
$bansurl = "http://www.yourwebsite.com/shop";
//blogsurl MUST be the location of your WordPress with NO trailing slash. In most cases, this is just your domain name
$blogsurl = "http://www.yourwebsite.com";
?>

Change the $bansurl reference of www.yourwebsite.com/shop to your own website BANS directory information. DO NOT include a trailing slash.
Change the $blogsurl reference of www.yourwebsite.com to your own website BLOG directory information. In most cases, if the blog is on the root of your domain, this will be your domain name. DO NOT include a trailing slash.

Save and upload to your server, or if in cPanel, save and close

STEP 3 - Configure the BLOG Theme files
******************************************************************************************

1 - Edit /wp-content/themes/Chimera/sidebar.php in your blog theme directory and change the following TOP line of code:

$bansurl = "http://www.yourwebsite.com/shop";
?>

Change the reference to www.yourwebsite.com/shop to your own website BANS directory information. DO NOT include a trailing slash.

Save and upload to your server, or if in cPanel, save and close

STEP 4 - Activate the Themes in the respective Administration section of your website
