In order to bring a bit more awareness to the process of converting wordpress to BANS – I have decided that any domains I use for the tutorials this week, will be given away each day!

The first post features the use of a Charcoal Grills website! There are currently 98 pages indexed in search engines and it is already receiving small amounts of traffic. It has been live for several months with a blog on the root of the domain… but nothing more. It was one of those “Abandoned Sites” we all seem to have a few of.

How to enter:

Write a post on your own blog linking to the series landing page: Converting WordPress Themes into a BANS Template
Return to THIS POST and let me know you have done so by posting the url of your blog post. The trackback will be posted to the other page, which will be verified at the same time.
That’s it…

How to Win:

Make SURE you do not no-follow the link, otherwise the trackback will not be listed on the main post! It is the most common mistake when entering contests…
Use ANY anchor text you want, but in the spirit of information, please make the reference part of a true blog post. I really prefer that the visitors are interested in this process, versus people entering just to win a website. In other words… “Check this Out” does not qualify as a blog post. Write a post that is relevant to the subject and content rich. Write it for YOUR visitors…
DO IT QUICKLY! At 5pm eastern time tomorrow (August 5th, 2008) I will close down the comments to this post and using a randomizer, will post a winner. Only comments that have provided a post will be entered. Those that just commented, will be removed for the process.
