According to Matt Cutts, The leader of WebSpam for Google – We should see a Google PageRank Update over the next few days!
Hmmm… I felt it was near!
Matt also mentions that Google will be expiring some older penalties on websites – I wonder what that means!

I have been doing my part to "Build the Internet" since 1994, when I built my first website! Since then, I have built hundreds of niche websites for myself and many others, focused on design, applications, ecommerce, search optimization and internet marketing.
With all the Google problems with bans or some of our sites this could be good or BAD..we will soon know
It is a shame there is not more competitive action with more search engines than bloody google-Matt Cutts strikes me as a guy i would not invite to my bar-b-cue -smart yes,but smug-only my opinion—
Well I have PR! I suspect the update is not finished yet but a number of my sites have received PR1 & PR2 rankings which I’m quite pleased about as none are more than 3 months old.
It’s actually quite bizarre as I have a PR2 on one site which is nothing short of garbage and only a PR1 ranking on a site I consider of much higher quality.
Then of course there are a couple of really good sites with no ranking at the moment which I am hoping will change in the next day or so.
