It looks as though the concern over EPN tracking issues may have been for a good reason!
Tonight as I browsed around, I landed on the EPN forum site and a post with an Update to EPN Tracking!
2) We have also found a discrepancy in the way ACRUs were attributed to affiliates on Commission Junction vs. now with eBay Partner Network…. We are still calculating the magnitude of the impact, but preliminary estimates are that we have missed 8-10% of the ACRUs this way since we launched in April.
In looking through my own clicks/earnings, I have always felt that while auction earnings remained constant, I was missing the ACRU’s from the previous months.
Read the post… it looks like eBay is on top of this and will make it right through a “make good payment” to those they determine were affected.
You have to give them credit for posting about it… and keeping the information in front of us!

Mark , thanks for the post on EPN, I have not been on the forums for a while and did not know they were finally admitting that there is some problems.. maybe they will at least stop the missed acrus in the future…
Hi Otis -
In looking at my own EPN stats this mnth, I already have 3 ACRU’s… so it looks like they may be on the right track!

I have had 3 ACRU’s already this month. More than I had on each of the last two months, so it’s pretty awesome that it’s now fixed!
I agree - Its good to see them admin the issue exists, and get it corrected.

Mark,
It seems there are problems with sales commissions also. I just checked my stats and had a $55 sale that showed a 3 cent revenue! Hope they clear that up, or maybe it’s just a “hold-back” until the end of the month?
All commissions this end stopped entirely on 4 June 08, before that they were as regular as clockwork, several times a day often. Since that date, all I’ve received is 50 cents commission total.
I’m also noticing that the number of URL’s clicked on in EzineArticles is much higher than that which is showing on my EPN Dashboard.
It’s claiming, EPN, that is, that only 8 today received clicks / visits, whilst EzineArticles alone tells me this figure is much, much higher.
So far, I’m not at all impressed with EPN, in a nutshell, it’s absolutely pathetic. Some partnership!
My feeling on all of this is that people are being diddled left, right and centre by eBay.
“Oh it’s just another fault, oh well, there’s another few hundred thousand dollars gone into our coffers this week, we don’t give a darn about our affiliates.”
That’s what I think they’re thinking.
