ePN Archives and A Great Read from ProBlogger!
As mentioned both here and the ePN blog post earlier this week – eBay Partner Network has completed the changes to allow you to completely remove the association between an older or archived campaign, and your ePN account.
I’m not sure if everyone will see the same email… but I got one today that started by mentioning I have archived more than 10 campaigns in past - don’t know if that’s good or bad - ALL will be reactivated today, and I need to walk back through them and shut them down. Along with that message was a very clear warnings:
It is important to know that once you have deactivated a campaign you will no longer accrue earnings for that campaign and the action is not reversible.
So… if you deactivate a campaign, make sure you didn’t want it!
Problogger Deals with Jerks Also!
Darren Rowse, aka Problogger always has a few good hours of reading for any occasion! Ben sent me an email referencing Darren’s latest post that I had to actually laugh out loud, yes, I LOL’d about it pretty hard… because it struck close to home!
Darren wrote a GREAT article about Standing out in a Niche Full of Jerks today that really helps you get past the little things that truly don’t matter… and at the same time, strive to be better and stand out in the crowd. It holds true for ANY site you work on, as the more influence your message has, you WILL start to find that people are happy to take an opposite stance, well… just to be opposite of you!
Thanks for the Biz!
Finally – many of you emailed and asked what happened to the sites I had for sale on Friday! If you missed it… I listed about 15 sites for sale for one day only! Roughly half of the sites sold within a few short hours, and I killed the article that night. The main reason for the deletion is to preserve the sites from new eyes. Sure, if you get the email updates, you have a copy of it in your inbox… but it’s no longer available on the site and the cache has been flushed to eliminate further viewing.
Starting next week – I will be doing something like this on a regular basis… and will offer anywhere from 5-20 new or aged sites for clearance sale every week or two. I am not however going to do it on the public side of this site, so I have to finish up a bit of work before I share more.
Watch for more info shortly…

I’m with you on that Mark, I LOL’ed as well and it’s not often I do that at a blog post, it was just one of those I related to in a big way so I had to share it :D.
Good news on the sale, I’ll be watching with interest to see if there is anything I can snap up, I haven’t had time to put any new sites together for the last month or two so hoping to see something that grabs my eye.
@Ben – We (Kim and I) found roughly 140-150 domains that are just sitting around doing nothing… Some of them are VERY GOOD domains, I mean 2-word generics… just doing nothing.
So… several weeks ago we crafted a plan to get them built, and will start moving them out in the next week or two.
I don’t want them on the public site – so I have some security things to setup first. :-)

Sounds great me, decent 2 word domains are getting harder to find these days so I’ll definitely be up for some of that.
Can’t wait :)!
Hope the changes at ePN gives a boost to my account. Its basiclly dead.
Did you just call me a jerk?
LOL Bill…
