February 2008 and the Niche Store Builder

February 1, 2008

The time has come for me to regain focus and what better way to do it, than to start with a list of things I have to get accomplished in February! Starting Monday, I will be back in full swing on The Niche Store Builder blog as well as getting back into several of the forums I have come to love!

Listed below are some of the things I need to complete and/or follow up with on this site… I also have plans in place for a new series that will take 10 existing BANS owners who may be having a challenged time with earnings and involve them into a very interactive 12 week series. The series is going to be named “Build a Niche Store Empire in 12 weeks” and will likely kick off in the next few weeks as I finish up the format. More info to follow soon… :-)

List of Goals for February

  • Complete my Blogroll!
  • Complete the optimization of Cobra Mustangs for Sale website.
In the short 2-3 weeks since posting the initial process for optimizing this site, it is now fully indexed with Yahoo and ranks in the top 5 for the target term “Cobra Mustangs for Sale”
  • Outline the newest series “Build a Niche Store Empire in 12 weeks!”
As I briefly explained above, this series will fully involve a group of 10 readers. They will be developing a series of their own BANS sites throughout the process and blogging on this site about it regularly.
  • Slight redesign of this blog
I am going to do away with the static format on many of the pages and incorporate a static/blog look to the site.

Drumroll…. and now for the HARDEST Goal of all…

As many of you know, I follow the Jeremy Schoemaker blog daily. Aside from being amusing and saying exactly what is on his mind, his blog contains some great resources for people who are trying to make it with their own online business plans. In late November, he wrote a post about BANS and it actually had fantastic response from his readers. Well… the store he setup as an example is www.shoemoneyshoes.com/ and honestly, he has done nothing with it since!

I have not really gone over the top to get in touch, but I have commented and responded on his blog. I have joined a FAQ session and tried just a few ways to get him to allow me the opportunity to develop the site for him, so I can showcase through his site, just how powerful BANS really is, with just a few hours of work.

Why would he even Bother?
Back in his November post, he outlined just how easy it is for his reader to get the script, install their first store, and get it off the ground. I want to provide Jeremy’s readers with the rest of the story and pick up where he left off, so they too, can learn about the earning power of BANS!

How do you turn a single niche site into “Build a Niche Store Empire

He has yet to respond… wish me luck!

SO… my mountain sized goal for February is to Get Shoemoney To Answer and allow me to develop his site for him! Heck, it is FREE development on an affiliate site that will earn HIM money! I know… crazy. I guess I drank the BANS flavored kool-aid and just believe in the product that much that I want him to have a showcase site. All I want in return is a mention in a post about what I did for him… :-)

I just realized… It is February and I have to get to work!

Back soon… Mark

    Hey Mark!

Welcome back! I’d be MORE THAN HAPPY to participate in the “Build a Niche Store Empire in 12 weeks” series! I actually have two sites…one under 2 months old, and the other under 1 month old….that could use a shot in the arm!

    Mark,

    Thanks for the recent help.

Do not have a web page yet as we have been beating this for over 3 weeks and could use your ” Build a Niche Store Empire in 12 weeks 101.”

This could solve all my problems.

    Regards,

    Jim

Hi Mark, Good to ’see’ you back. I’m sure that you are swamped with them but … if you need any more volunteers for the 12 week series give me a shout. I have 7 BANS sites all of which are in the early stages of development.

Mark, I would really appreciate being able to join your group for the 12 week series. Only have one BANS site that has made very little income.
Willing to learn from a master and 12 weeks to build a BANS Empire seems like an excellent use of my time - I just need the guidance and working in a group would help a great deal.

I hate working on my own!

    Hi Mark,

This is exciting news, you offering an opportunity to a group of us to be mentored with the goal of building a BANS empire. I am willing to do the work required, and actively be involved in this project. Thanks for the offer; I look forward to hearing from you, and if you should not select me I will certainly stay tuned.

    Best Regards,

    Rick

    Hi Mark

Well I did some extra research and your 12 week program looks even more appetizing. I am a middle aged Newbie looking to build something that will help with my retirement and help my wife who would work from home.

    Do not forget about me!

    Thanks,

    John

    Hello Mark,

Nice to see you getting back in the swing of things….I know it’s one of those things that you sometimes have to force yourself to do and it’s not without its moments….hang in there.

I’ve got three BANS sites up and running, only one of which I’ve been slowly optimizing…I’ve even had two sales (.34 and .47 cents respectively!) If you’ve got room left for a series participant, I’d be interested :)

    Welcome Back!
