First Post From Bill

Just wanted to stop by and say Hi. My name is Bill. I will be working along with Mark during the 12 week Succeed with Build a Niche Store.

I have been working with the BANS script for about the same amount of time as Mark, When I started I had no experience with building a truly monetized Web Site. I have become quit the Web Master in 6 + months. I had a fairly good foundation from building blogs but I was ready to step it up. Try and picture a carpenter who built homes for 20 years then getting hurt. That’s me. I had no idea what I was doing. BANS has really turned things around for me and I am very excited to work with one of the BANS guru’s.

I haven’t really decided how much work I will take on during the course I will build the site to go along with the course and I have several sites that need to be optimized or completely revamped. One of my first stores I built was Cafe IPod . This site needs lots of work and will probably work on it as well.  As we will all learn IPod was probably a bad choice to start with but it converts so I’m keeping it. I also have several other stores that are converting nicely which I may or may not reveal later. I have two that are a real mess and may work on them too. They are examples of what not to do. I have also started a blog that I will be posting in.

Can’t wait to get to work. I just need to decide which one of my domains to use and I will be ready to go.  I would like to encourage anyone contemplating following along to do so. When BANS is properly set up and optimized it can be a life learning experience.
