    FYI – You can’t use the free URL to buy one from GoDaddy’s auctions (I just tried…).

    not trying to cut in on answer from Augie but you can go to http://www.retailmenot.com/ and type godaddy.com or even tdnam.com and find the codes for savings. ..I use these and have great success even on expiring domains..hope this help some…Otis
