OK - so this post starts out a bit off-topic… but damn, My wife Kim is so accident prone, every time we go somewhere… she end up with scars!
I know… she looks like any other person you see on the street… with one great exception. She’s a tad accident prone and usually just ONE STEP away from an emergency room visit!
Just last week we were at the beach for a weekend away and in the short 4 days, she managed to hurt herself many times! The worst pain came when she opened the door to a restaurant and forgot to move her foot out of the way! You guessed it… Broken Toes! Before you BLAME me for not opening the door for her, which I usually do… I was already inside!
Even though she is accident prone, she is also very lucky! How often would you bust your foot at a restaurant, only to run into a Podiatrist in the bathroom!?!? Together with Kim’s sister, they managed to fashion a bandage to stop the bleeding.
Later that night, luck would strike Kim again as she found popsicle stick and made a do-it-youself splint for her broken toes! Why is it the camera batteries are always charging when you need it the most?
Maybe she needs a helmet AND steel toe sandals!
We have a rule in our house… On weekends or vacations, there shall be no emergency room visits without serious loss of blood! Kim actually enacted that rule several years ago to keep the kids in check during our leisure time. Talk about karma…
The entire point behind this is that even though December is a long way off… 5 months to be exact, we have to plan early and keep our most important things protected!
I will start this out… with a picture of my own:

I dont exactly think the WWII helmet does her much justice, but there are literally thousands of helmet types out there.
Do you have any photoshop skills? If so, run out and fit a helmet to her cute little head. Post your links or trackbacks in a comment to this post… Since we are going to the Disney area, a helmet with big Mickey Ears would be awesome!
Just trying to help you Kim… :-)
btw: Please keep it clean… we have 7 kids that will likely watch this and they don’t need to be scarred for life!

Awww.
I feel your pain. Growing up I couldn’t take my sister anywhere - she would always get hurt. I managed to save her from disaster on multiple occasions, but I never thought of getting her a helmet.
Sorry Kim, here is you a helmet…

This is all GREAT!! Thanks for the participation everyone… Kim, I hope you feel the Love!
Thanks for all the helmets! Otis, I always wanted to be Darth Vader - “luke, I am your faaaatha” - LOL!
Yes, I feel the love and I know I need a helmet most of the time - and shin guards, knee pads, elbow pads, and one of those cute little neon flag thingies on my car antenna - I would hate to become a target since I do such a fine job of targeting myself!
Have a great weekend and NO EMERGENCY ROOM VISITS! LOL!
Kim may be feeling the love but you -Mark-on the other hand may not be after Kim is finished with you . . .seems she took it in stride though so you may be safe . .!Luv the Pic!
