As I stated earlier this week, this video (Long overdue) walks through the process of installing and general configuration of the BANS Flex template for Build a Niche Store and WordPress. If you need to get the template, it can be on the BANS Templates page.
BANS Flex Installation Instructions
I should also mention that since this was the first template released to you all, I took some extra steps (many include files) to be sure diagnosis of issues was easy to track. With this template, you need to edit about 12-15 lines of code in order to call each of the files into the respective area. On future templates, this has been accomplished with only 2-3 template edits! Much easier!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask for help, I’m always glad to help out.

Perhaps you could zip groups of files into “destination zips” ahead of time , so that all that is needed to be done is unzip the files and they are in the right place.

For the most part, they can. The real variable is what the user names their store/auction folder.
All in all, I learned quite a bit myself after running through this installation and have already made leaps and bounds inprovement on the next template. I may even rebuild this one to make the process that much more simple.
Thanks for the comment!

Hi Mark -
I just discovered I’m getting a 404 Error for the BANS store pages sitemap using the BANS-Flex template. I’ve double checked to make sure I changed all the yourwebsite.coms to my url using the /store where appropriate. Also checked the sitemap content page set-up in BANS admin. Everything appears to be ok. I’m sure I’m overlooking something simple.
Help will be greatly appreciated. Name linked to url in this post.

Me again. Also just discovered a 404 error for the /store/sitemap.xml.
I knew that as soon as I posted a help request, I’d figure it out. Re-uploaded the BANS .htaccess file and everything works. Hope you read this before you reply to the previous 2 comments from me.
