Alexa has been one of my toughest nuts to crack for sure!! I have read and looked at some ways to inflate it quickly, but for me... I wont be happy doing so, so I avoid them. Putting the widget in my sidebar last week was done as a test, to see if it helps. I am still midway through a full site redesign here, and part of the new layout makes it easier to bookmark the site, which will also help.
