I wanted to leave "everything else" in place for the short term so i could pile hard to categories posts and come back to them over a short period of time for classification. Good luck with pruning these and making them work better for you. It's hard to really narrow down your categories so they represent an improved table of contents with your blog. It's paying attention to the details, even the smallest details like spelling and helping readers navigate your blog that helps your reputation as much as the attention to your content. All comes together to make a good first impression, so every bit has to be right.
