New Weekly Feature – Developed Site Dump

It’s no secret that Kim and I have WAY too many domains and/or websites that are just being neglected, or completely ignored.

We made the decision several months ago, that instead of shelving projects and simply renewing domains with no additional plans, we would have a monthly strategy session devoted only to what we were going to do with the domains set to expire in the following month.

What we came up… is that we are going to develop them to the point of 10-25 page sites (Our typical starting point) and list them for sale, one day a week!

Niche Site Sale Day

Every week going forward, you will find 5 new sites on this page, listed for sale. Along with the sites for sale, we plan on adding in some kind of buyer-bonus that will change each…

  • All sites are actually working, running sites
  • All software is updated to latest versions
  • All plugins are installed and configured
  • NOT ONE commercial plugin is installed on any of the sites
  • Open ended business plans – turn it into a full-blown review site, or keep it as an information site.
  • Most of the sites are top-shelf domain names!
  • Much more…

These sites are a GREAT way to get started into a niche market! All you need to do is:

  • Take it Over
  • Update the Adsense and Amazon ID’s
  • Start Adding content on a set schedule (2-4 times a month, is a great starting point)

Our Plan for Selling the Sites

  • The Site Sale Page is only active for 24-48 hours a week, days and times will vary and only RSS or Email Subscribers will know when by the email they receive.
  • 5 New Listings will be added EVERY week
  • Listings will ONLY be removed if they sell – or have NOT sold for several weeks, and we decide to keep it ourselves!

Without further ado… this weeks site sales page

This post JUST showed up in my inbox. I came asap to take a look, and there’s nothing here. Just checking to see if this means you’ve already sold and removed all five sites? If so, would it be possible for you to indicate that the sites have already been removed? That way, those of us who overthink (such as myself) won’t wonder if the sites have been removed or if you forgot to list them (not that you would do that!).

@Rochelle – I dont have ANY of the sites listed on “This Page” Rochelle. There are a couple links within the post itself, linking to the page with the 5 sites for this week.

Hey, not strictly related to this post but I thought you should know anyway and I can’t access your contacts page either to tell you!

From your home page, any link I click that isn’t ‘read more’ takes me to a 403 forbidden error. Apparently I don’t have access to index.php (which can’t be right), so maybe have a look into that? New to your site, and I really want to look around lol, but its a little impossible at the moment. :)

@Heather – Thanks Heather… Looks like I lost the entire server today, one small piece at a time.

Several sites went down in different phases and the only content that showed was cached content.
