Hello Everyone and Happy New Year!
Not much has changed in respect to the situation with my fathers health. His health has gone from bad to worse and we are just trying to pull together as a family and surround him with love and care during these last days. I came home just before Christmas to be with my wife and children (7 of them kids running around) through the holiday. Tomorrow, I will be heading back to Massachusetts and staying as long as needed. The break was definitely needed…
So… what has 2008 got in store for the Niche Store Builder and all I have lost complete touch with? First, I’ve not been completely out of service… just somewhat slowed down to a crawl. I have found a great little link cloud application (Freebie) that allows visitors to post one-way links from your site to theirs. The catch… they have to contribute a small fee to get that one way link! Not you though… since you are member of this blog - it is free to you for the next 8 days!
Here is how it works - and the benefit to you!
Does anyone remember the Million Dollar Homepage concept from 2 years ago? If not, here is how it worked for him… A college student put up a website with 1 million pixels, 1000 tall by 1000 wide. He then proceeded to sell those pixels at $1 each, or 1 million dollars! He did this in less than 2 weeks! Since most people wanted a 10 x 10 image block, the average cost was about $100 to be listed for a minimum of 10 years. The site is now a PageRank 6 and if you were lucky enough to get listed, you now have a great 1-way inbound link from a high PR site! The niche word cloud works on a similar principal except YOU get to choose anchor text that will give your site higher relevance on the term you choose! It is not a new script and has been around for about 12-14 months… I just haven’t seen it overdone yet! :-)
So - How does it work? Pretty simple actually… you visit the Niche Site Directory and find the term that BEST describes your niche site. When you click on the word it will take you to a form to complete the purchase of the term or One-Way Link, for life! If you dont see a word or phrase (Long tail phrases are MUCH better) that describes your niche site, simply scroll to the bottom and suggest it! Currently, I only have about 45-50 terms in place and will limit the entire page to 501 terms, period!
This domain was originally registered for 6 years and will not expire until Sept 2013! That’s a guarantee that your one-way link will be active and gaining PR and relevance for quite some time! In December, all major search spiders (googlebot, slurp, msnbot, alexa, ask, etc) visited this site EVERY DAY, and many times a day in some instances!
Right now, people are buying monthly links for $50-$100 per MONTH in order to get spiders into their sites! I know, my eyes opened pretty wide at that thought also!
OK - Now for the benefit to you. Since you are a member of this blog and you have signed up to receive email updates, I am opening this to my readers before posting the link on the menu. Along with getting this first, I am also going to allow ALL OF YOU to post 1 Niche Term for FREE until January 10th 2008. On the 11th, I am going to post the link on the main menu and just let it run from there… For all I know, it may just be a complete flop and waste of my time, but hey… with more than 500 daily visitors, it may also do very well!
The script itself is VERY customizable! You can set the link pricing anywhere from free to as much as you want per link! I have mine set at $100 per link phrase and limited to 501 phrases. There are also additional options that can increase the price on the lifetime one-way link. Bold, Color, Larger text, link title text etc… all add a few dollars here and a few dollars there.
What else can I tell you about this wonderful little script? Aside from being FREE to install, I’ve almost got a MOD completed where you can use it on a BANS site as a content page! That’s right, once it is done, you will be able to post a link cloud on your BANS sites and encourage visitors with similar sites to buy links from you as well! This is just another source of revenue for you that requires little to no maintenance!
Here is what you need to do TODAY in order to secure your niche term at no charge!
Limit 1 term / phrase per person please.
Don’t wait until the last minute on this, there are several hundred readers of this post right now and they may get and grab your term there before you!
I hope to have the MOD completed and able to show an example within the next few days, pending travel to my Dads. Once it is done, i will write full directions and post it here.
