Well, don't expect to get much, if any help from EPN when it comes to figuring out what to do because I have been deciphering this information as much or even more than others. I am a stats person and like math. But this just doesn't add up. Granted it's now an 11 day snapshot and my campaigns are only down $xxx. It may balance out in a 30 day timeframe. Time will tell, time to develop more sites to make up the difference, I wouldn't recommend removing underperforming sites, just make them better. EPC is at the campaign level.
The webinar has made myself completely reevaluate my mind set on this. What I think is needed is a check of our own psychology of what we are doing.
1st point I got was we need to tell users why they should choose ebay for there purchase. I found this to be the simplest thing I can do today.
The other thing was to remove links from archived sites that are low performers.
Once we finish getting my heads around this I think things will be better for everyone who can survive.
We need to really listen to what these guys are telling us and do it. It may mean starting over as far as mind set in the way we build sites but it should be worth it in the end.
The N1WAY fits right into this change don't ya think?
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('16842','Bill','The webinar has made myself completely reevaluate my mind set on this.
The thing that I have noticed in particular with the QCP so far is that on days when I had no ACRU's my earnings on the QCP are generally higher. However on days when I have had ACRU's (Very High Quality) my earnings are significantly lower. Now I am not someone who relies on ACRU's but I do think that this is where eBay are going to start saving some of their cash, regardless of how much more they pay out under the new system.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('16841','Ben Johnson','The thing that I have noticed in particular with the QCP so far is that on days when I had no ACRU\'s my earnings on the QCP are generally higher.
Very interesting - Superficially I'm delighted. US Earnings +30% UK Earnings +200% (like that'll last).

Further investigation shows there is plenty to figure out. Firstly, it's weird to get paid for clicks when nothing was sold.

And then in one extreme example I earned $60 from one of my stores in a day and under the new system it was $3. Yet other sites show the reverse.

Now to watch the videos and read the q&a etc.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('16840','Mike','Very interesting - Superficially I\'m delighted.
I was really sweating the switch to the new payment structure, but feel much better after seeing this report. I saw about an 18% increase in the period defined. I was really concerned about what steps would need to be taken to adjust to this change. I guess I am going to keep doing exactly what I've been doing all along.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('16839','Greg','I was really sweating the switch to the new payment structure, but feel much better after seeing this report.
Thanks for updating us about the QCP preview. My earnings are up significantly, too, under the new reporting system.

I don't know what everyone else's stats look like, but most of the QCP EPC ($) for my sites are EXACTLY the same (low, with one exception). Is this normal? Or does this mean they are all duds? ;-)

@ Cara -

The one site that I have was a high-value, high sales process site. I know from running an ebay store for several years in the past, the sell through rate is low, and there are generally ALOT of questions before buying occurs.

I assume the engines cat is the same way.

Its really too soon to tell if it will rmain like that, but that one site changes my OVERALL network from +12% INCREASE to a -1% decrease, so I may have to explore different options with it.
