Review of the Niche Store Guide – Is It Really Worth It?

Many of you are pondering the same thing I was this morning… Is the new guide really worth it? Over at the review site I put up a few weeks ago, I have written a fairly indepth Review of the Build a Niche Store Guide.

If you already have the guide, please go over and leave your opinion of the guide as well! While you are there, make sure you enter the BANS Guide Contest, and get your name in the shuffle to win the Golf Putter Guide website Adam and Kelvin once used as example of the Perfect Site for a Niche Store!

Looking forward to hearing what others think…

    Hi Mark

Nice review…….I’ve bought the guide myself and so far read through to step 6. I love the guide and it’s obvious the amount of work that has gone into it.

There isn’t any ‘new’ information as such, unless you are a newbie, but the nice thing is that all the ‘right’ information is pulled into one place.

I say a good job well done to them.

What they say is true. You can make x,xxx per month or more and it takes dedication to make it happen. And a lot of work, but it’s worth it if you do it right.

Although, I was disappointed overall it is because I felt like some things were left out and not explained clearly. Section 5 didn’t explain the concepts or more of the how to’s and tips that I thought it would contain with PPC Marketing. But then if you use PPC, I wouldn’t want to give out too many tips either. The guide started out good, but then tailed off in more generalizations in the later chapters without any actual how to’s with detail. Kinda like the new Harry Potter movie which I saw yesterday – where’s the beef?

Was also hoping for more examples of the WP Plugins, etc.

I liked sections 0-4, especially 3 and 4. They pumped me up for getting back into developing some more sites, which I haven’t done in quite awhile. Even found 3 new niches – mahahaha.

I’ll give it a 3.x out of 5, but great for any newb.

Its worth every penny at $24.00 for someone new, but at $45.00 for me I would send it back.
    Nothing personal K&A
Lets be honest here. The guide is a grand re opening really. Loaded with up sells and nothing new. Or very little.
I notice that lots of wordpress stuff was not covered. Like custom fields and media files. The new wp doesn’t make make you place images manually. Upload the image & wp makes 3 sizes for users. Custom fields wasn’t covered either. Custom fields save a lot of time.
If anything the guide made me jealous that I can’t build and market something like bans.
Overall I would recommend it as a good read.
I am going to build and re build sites according to the method and see what happens. Lots of redirects that I don’t feel like dealing with though.

I bought the guide and was some what disappointed with it.

While it is great if you are just starting out, I felt it left a lot of the details and examples out. the last two section seem more like an affiliate web promotion then a guide.

K&A put some time into this but they put out a lot of hype about its release also! Then they added a lot of affiliate links at the end which is OK I guess put charging $24.00 for an affiliate promotional page in section 9 was a big disappointment to me.

I was disapointed with the guide. I didn’t find anything new in it. I was looking for the answers to how to change the BANS stores to keep them listed on Google. I use phpbay amd have phpZon but would have liked more about the best way to use those, the settings, etc. I think Kelvin uses Tuelz (unless someone like him with his name is on the forums) I would love to know if they are using some of the Tuelz tools to beef up there sites.
I go get a lot of info from .Marks site and the other blogs they list in the reference. That all you really need if yoi read those.

I like the Guide. It has alot of tips and correct ways to stay focused and with this guide and epn not making it impossible to make money, I should be able to change the way I have been doing things and free up some time..

Good structure for guide. I realize most of this stuff is not new, but it is presented in such a way that even a newby can follow and learn to earn….

The one major thing I’m not impressed with is not being able to get any support from them. They may say that it’s all covered but it’s not, there are issues within the steps they have listed.
