Second Contest this Week – Win a Website!
Wow – Another day and yet another Contest!
Just like the previous contest won by Celine of Blog Zenith, I am trying to not only create more awareness to the power of convergence between Build a Niche Store and WordPress, but also help you with topics for posts on your own sites! :-)
This next contest will last just a bit longer than just one day though, because it’s going to take me a bit longer to complete the work on the site! The prize… you guessed it, www.Hybrid-Auctions.com, complete with the WordPress front end and Build a Niche Store back-end for those shoppers we are going to build the site for!
As of right now, there are 97 pages indexed for the site on this PREMIUM DOMAIN NAME and when I moved it to the new server, I made sure to keep the url structure correct! Its a great head start site for anyone who is INTERESTED in blogging about hybrid technology, or Interested in making Passive income with BANS!
Hybrid Cars, Hybrid Energy (Solar panels etc) Trucks, Planes, Golf, Bats, Hybrid Tax Credits, Batteries, etc etc… you see where this is going! The niche market for this is the Hybrid… hybrid everything!
Kim asked me – Why don’t you keep the site? The main reason… I have No Interest in it! Thus the contest…
How to enter:
-
Now, for a little bit of spin on this new contest, I want you to post on your blog about how you use, or are starting to use BANS to earn passive income.
-
Your post must link to the series landing page: Converting WordPress Themes into a BANS Template
-
Return to THIS POST and let me know you have done so by posting the url of your blog post. The trackback will be posted to the other page, which will be verified at the same time.
-
That’s it…
How to Win:
-
Make SURE you do notno-follow the link, otherwise the trackback will not be listed on the main post! It is the most common mistake when entering contests… Edit: I removed this requirement as I don’t want to make Google think I am rolling out a GoogleBomb. No follow is fine, I want the posts to be for your readers anyhow! -
Use ANY anchor text you want but please make the reference part of a true blog post. I really prefer that the visitors are interested in this process as well as BANS. In other words… “Check this Out” does not qualify as a blog post. Write the post for YOUR visitors…
-
ENTER QUICKLY! At 5pm eastern time Monday (August 11th, 2008) I will close down the comments to this post and using a randomizer, will post a winner. Only comments that have provided a post will be entered. Those that just commented, will not be given a number.
This is not for BANS owners only – if the winner does not own BANS, I will buy them the license!
I should also mention that the current theme on the site will not be the final theme this site ends up with! We will be using a nice, green and Hybrid looking theme!
Good Luck!

I’ve made a post, but not sure how to remove the no-follow tag from it. Hopefully I can get in before the deadline…

@ All -
Thnaks for the posts! I wanted to mention that I pulled the requirement of the no follow attribute. No follow is fine… While I would love to have some inbound links from this, I DO NOT want Google to think I am promoting a GoogleBomb, which may get the page banned from the engine.
Thanks,
Mark
Mark,
