Socrates WordPress Theme

There has been quite a bit of buzz around the Socrates WordPress theme since it was released 3-4 weeks ago, and after using it on just 2 sites… I concur! It’s fast, easy to install, and from a usability standpoint, easy to customize! PotentMix mentioned it on the BANS Forum this morning and it reminded me that I wanted to post about it soon!

Let me just start out by saying… If you liked the options of site headers and flexibility within the administration of the FlexSqueeze theme, you are going to LOVE the Socrates WordPress Theme from Joel Comm and Dan Nickerson!

It’s not a free theme… but includes:

  • +200 Niche Site Headers (Makes for FAST and EASY site builds!)
  • Sales Page Templates (Funnel readers, keep them onsite for more than 1 click)
  • Point and Click Changes in Admin (Easy to make changes!)
  • Created By Marketers > For Marketers!
  • Support Forum…

I have installed the theme on (2) separate sites in completely different markets (1 product site, 1 local business site), and they are currently being run through some split testing paces. Within the next few weeks, I will write a full review of the theme over at the Script Critics site.

    Hey Mark, did you ever do the review of this theme? Trying to find a theme that is optimized. I mainly use the Church Theme right now. I like to have drop-down menu’s in the header that go to the product landing pages. I don’t know if it’s how I’m putting them together or the theme itself, probably me.

    Any new plugins that are worthwhile? Or is the same ol’ stuff.

    How much do you charge for site reviews?

    As the saying goes – Business in the front, Party in the back. Kinda how you want an affiliate site to run…. ;)
