Earlier this week, I posted 2 times in regard to free places to get your Build a Niche Store backlinks. In those posts:
I listed 2 sites that I have been working on myself. They are both hosted on my Hostgator account and one uses a link cloud, the other a full version of the php link directory with article support.
I was asked… Why? Why, are you spending time building these directories, and why are you allowing us to link for free? As I have said about Build a Niche Store many times, the development process of ANY website is like growing a garden… plant your seeds today, water it for a long time, weed out the garbage and eventually, you will be rewarded with some really good stuff! These link directories are no exception… I don’t know if what I plan is considered white, gray or blackhat, but here goes!
Hit Doctor Link and Article Directory
The Hit Doctor directory was setup as a 3-way link directory. Meaning, I have the ability to change the reciprocal link information at will. If you added a link tot he directory, during the submission process, you noticed a section for you to provide a link back to the site… for now, I have that set to the Hit Doctor Directory. As time passes and the directory starts gaining importance on the web, not only will I REQUIRE a link back to the directory, I will change the link code to a different niche site every week.
How does that help you ask?
Well… if the site getsĀ 50 submissions a day, which is my goal within 6 months. At the beginning of every week, I will be able to change the reciprocal link information to a different niche site, gaining 350 instant inbound links to a site each week! Kinda crooked huh?
How about when it grows to a PR4 or higher site within 6 months to a year? Do you think any affiliate marketers like yourself would be willing to pay, say $xxx per week, to have me change that reciprocal link text to YOUR new site? That would mean YOUR niche store could get hundreds of inbound links in no time at all!
Now you know why the HitMD site was created… 6 months from now, it will be a resource directory capable of not only generating instant links to new niche sites, but it also provides a new resource of revenue over the long haul!
I still don’t want to talk much about theĀ Niche Clouds directory yet, but once it is ready for prime time, you can rest assured that it will be a TOP SHELF resource for anyone looking to gain one way links!

How awesome is Mark you guys?….seriously? :D
You never cease to amaze me! Mark mentioned something in his above post…regarding his site getting 50 submission per day as a GOAL.
I’m going to post a topic on the importance of Goal Setting….I know, “BOOORING”…but hopefully you guys will get something out of it. I feel that setting real, attainable goals is a valuable part of BANS….
….keep you’re eyes open for it!

Wow - I kind of got the idea of why you were doing it, but now you’ve elaborated on it it’s even better than I thought. Thanks Mark - I never cease to be amazed at how generous and creative you are.
Has anyone else heard of this new site?
They are offering to get you backlinks (free) for just submitting short articles called “intel”. You will also get adsense from clicks on your site page with them. Too much to describe here, click on my name (Curt) above and check it out.
No obligations!!
Thanks
Curt
Word of warning -
1) Too many links in a bunch on a new site can get you exiled to Google’s “Sandbox”, i.e. effectively banned. I had this happen on 3 sites not so very long ago and the memory still smarts.
If the link accumulation for a new site appears “unnatural” then look out. Mature sites are better “trusted” so you can take more liberties.
2) Adding links and then removing them is as bad or worse than never having them. Removal of a link is a vote of “no confidence”.
It’s safer and more effective to add links progressively at a steady pace over a long period.
I use a discreet “indirect” link exchange service that takes care not to leave footprints and it brings plenty of one-way links and traffic provided my anchor text keywords are sensibly chosen.
