The Pros all say the Same Thing, Be Different or Be Doomed!

OK – So maybe they don’t say it in those words… but it got you reading, right! During my nightly blog hopping, I ran across this great post over Mark Wielgus’ blog, 45n5.com The post titled: How to make one website that earns $30 a month has a whole list of ideas for anyone JUST now getting into the realm of making money on the web.

About midway down his post, he mentions one way to earn that $30 a month on a single site as: Build a Niche Store.

Build  A Niche Store

I don’t mean to literally use the software build  a niche store, although some people have luck with it, rather build a store that is commercial, using a script, based on data from a merchant like amazon.com or any from shareasale or cj.com.

The key with any script is you have to modify it. Anything that anybody can do isn’t worth the money you pay for it. However if you modify the script enough where you would feel ok pitching the cool new version to someone then you are golden.

The point Mark is making… is that if you dont do something different than thousands of others are already doing, you are just wasting your money on the software!

When you visit Marks site - make sure to check out the Top 100 Blogs about Making Money Online page… I tend to visit at least 3-4 times a week and try to visit a different blog every time. There is a plethora of others just like you and I, full of useful tops for kicking your day job goodbye!

thanks for the mention. yeah, I would do something to a BANS store to try and make it unique as possible. Just buying bans and dumping some “electronics” or “sports” keywords into it probably won’t do much.

    good luck
