Using Google Adwords Tool with WordTracker to Create Targeted Content

After my last post about Google Search Volume Metrics, I just had to jump in and see a quick and easy way to use the figures alongside WordTracker, to build visitor based content! This is actually a 10-12 minute video walking through the process… only because I talk alot though! The actual keyword research can be done in less than 5 minutes!

The most important data we get comes in part from both tools. From Google, we get search volume and from the WordTracker database, we can see the number of competing pages for the terms!

    Hey Mark,

Just wanted to give you the heads up – not sure the video is working. When I click on it, it reverts me back to this same page.

If this keyword data is 100% it is mind blowing. I’ve already uncovered dozens of high volume phrases with low competition that I have not targeted. Some of the volumes are hundreds per day higher than wordtracker estimates. The cat, as they say, is amongst the pigeons.

Got a chance to watch it, audio sounds great by the way!

Anyways, very interesting bit of info you’ve got going on here Mark. It’s nice to be able to pull directly from googles engine to find search amounts and then use that list in wordtracker to gauge KEI. I will be trying this out on a new site I’m working on.

All we need now is the ability to get the KEI easily without paying Wordtracker for it!

    I guess I could do it manually…. :)

    Great video my friend!

Great info…I learned a lot from one video than browsing through pages of tips in the last few hours. Thank you.
