Web Page Optimization with SEOPressor

web page optimizationWeb Page Optimization and on-page SEO does not have to be one of those voodoo processes that scares the heck out of most people! There are some basic principals of web page optimization (ext: Google) like proper keyword density, use of heading (h1, h2, h3) tags) tags, image optimization and so much more, that help anyone who is willing to follow some standard practices, and develop effective habits for your web page optimization.

I am NOT going to blow smoke up your butt and tell you that fixing on page factors alone is going to get you to the top… but its one part of your web page optimization you can soon forget! The SEOPressor plugin forces you to pay attention to the key indicators that effect your page optimization, and reminds you to fix them! I am also going to mention that while the links on this page are in fact affiliate links, that does not effect my opinion of this web page optimization tool! What used to be a 2-3 step process of writing the post, scanning it with other tools and making changes, its now all in one page!

The SEOPressor plugin is not a replacement for the All in One SEO plugin either, it has a completely different use! :-)

Web Page Optimization with SEOPressor

I think I’m pretty good when it comes to SEO and doing proper web page optimization. I was SHOCKED after I installed the SEOPressor plugin on one of my well established sites, and saw more than 75% of the pages were WTF (not “what the f”… but “WAY the f“) off!

I immediately picked 5 pages to test this on before making any sitewide changes. They were already indexed and ranked in the top 30 of Google for the target phrase. After I installed this plugin in July and followed the suggestions… ALL of the pages now rank in the top 10 of Google, 2 of them are at #1 after instituting the changes!!

To get an idea of how the plugin helps with web page optimization, you have to imagine that you have a little SEO coach sitting on your right shoulder as you write a page. You tell SEOPressor what phrase you want the web page optimized for, by filling in a single box… and every time you save it, you get a score with a checklist, based on several web page optimization factors:

  • Grades your Keyword Density
  • Header tag usage (h1, h2,. h3)
  • Page Title
  • Alt image tags
  • Number of words on page
  • Outbound page links
  • Keyphrase placement on the page!
  • much more….

Again… I’m not going to tell you cannot do this yourself, or with other free external tools… you can. The main benefit with this plugin is that you no longer even have to think about it! If you follow the suggestions of your coach in the sidebar, it takes care of itself as you clear out each one of the red X’s and complete the web page optimization!

Web Page Optimization Made Easy!

When you install the plugin to an established site, I recommend doing the same thing I did. Pick 5-10 pages that already rank well (in your opinion) and run the tool on them. Follow the suggestions and watch the improvements over the following week or two!

The SEOPressor plugin comes with a 60-Day 100% Money Back Guarantee, so if you don’t see results… you can always return it! It costs $47 for a single site or $97 for unlimited use and lifetime updates.

Get the SEOPressor Plugin Now

I don’t recommend too many commercial plugins, especially one that claims to automate any of the seo process for a page, but this is another one of those that completely shocked me with the results! It wasn’t that it automated anything I was already doing, it forced me to abide by a set of standards and made writing it (or editing it) easy! It makes the process a no-brainer for web page optimization!

    Hey Mark

thanks for the link/info on this, I too have used SEO Pressor for about 1 month or so, particularly useful for the sites that tanked after the G dance. I use it combined with SEO Power which gives you the search terms that people use to find your pages and tells you where your pages rank before and after using the plugin so pretty good. When I get back to the UK I will follow your advice and give those others a go. :)

Have you used/heard of the Scribe SEO service and plugin?
    http:/scribeseo.com/

Looks like they are competing products.

@Dannie – I have used Scribe before as well Dannie, its a GREAT products also. The biggest difference with Scribe is that you pay monthly, and have present limits on the number of pages/posts you can analyze.

@Dannie – I’ve been using scribe also for alot of my SEO sanity checking. SEOPressor looks like it may be a good replacement to get rid of the monthly fee. Scribe doesnt always help 100% of the time either.. if you’re optimizing for a phrase thats not commonly found, scribe may not catch it as a keyword.

    Thanks Mark for insight!

    Mark,

I have been using SEOPressor and I am a fan. I have gone back through a few sites and caught a lot of things. I am going to go back and put it on sites and it will be installed on any new sites. Saves a lot of time. Well worth the money.

    @Joe Wilson – NP Joe.

@Diane – Same here Diane. I was somewhat shocked by the amount of pages I thought were in better shape than they actually were! Its a nice little reminder to stay un-sloppy! LOL

    Hi Mark,

When you use SEOPressor. Is their a way to make the text small when using h1 and h2 and h3 tags? On my posts the text becomes big and then looks out of place.

@Randy – Sure is Randy… just edit the appropriate section of your stylesheet for your theme.

If you use firefox, check out how to use Firebug plugin, it helps ID how to do things.

    Hey Mark,

Quick question. Maybe I’m a little slow. I’m considering buying the seopressor plugin, but am a bit confused about having to purchase the 7 day trial prior to continuing to the $97 unlimited plan. Am I missing a button or something? I just want to purchase the unlimited without the trial. The 7 day thing seems a bit odd considering the 60 day guarantee and all. I would like for you to get the sale. You have helped me alot and I appreciate it.

    Mark,

Sorry. I bought it. Slept on it and tried again. I had in my head that I could buy the unlimited at $97. Not sure where I came up with that. Looking forward to trying this plugin. I’ve looked around at reviews and such. Many very positive. Watched his videos. The guy seems to know his stuff and seems relatively sincere in his quest to teach. I can use the coaching. Take care.

How do you get around the H1 tag?

My wp theme has the post title as a h1 tag, yet Seopressor says “You do not have H1 tag containing your keyword”

  • Mark Hansen (author) said:

@Dan – I just add 10 points in my head Dan. Most of my themes use the H1 as well, and as long as I can see the exact phrase in my page title, I assume the added 10 points for the h1.

This is brilliant! Purchased and playing with it and it is amazing. awesome post!

  • Randy said:

    Hi Mark,

When you use the H1, H2, H3 tags.

Do they have to be headings in your post?

I’ve tried to insert them just into the phrase that is
in the paragraph and it just messes up my spacing.

    Thanks,

    Randy

  • Mark Hansen (author) said:

@Randy – Yeah they kinda do Randy. I use them to head paragraphs… which is really what they are intended to be for.

Think of it like this… its like a title for a paragraph, so the reader can browse to read the sections they want.

h1 – MOST important (usually handled by the theme)
    h2 – Also Very Important
h3 through h5 – Somewhat important, and contained WITHIN the h2′s

So on a LONG page (+500 words), you would see it organized like:

    H1 = Page title
H2 – Very important Section title
H2 – Another Very important Section title
H2 – Another Very important Section title
    H3 – Important Section title
    H4 – Supporting info title
H5 – Related links or resources, etc title

On SHORTER pages of content (-500 words) it may only be:

    H1 = Page Title
    H2 – Important section title
    H3 – Important section title

    Hope that makes sense.
