I've read where people say that you can build a BANS site and use the generic template and you don't have to color it and you don't have to update it.. just set it and forget it and you can make money.. And, there are some that have made a money doing that.. FOR ME, it's the challenge, it's fooling with computers and the internet, which I love to do, and I'm learning something EVERY DAY! That's good for the brain hahaha. I read the comment above where Mark talked about his experience with web design and optimization techniques, and he struggles at times, and I'm like, can I do this? YES I CAN! You get out of it what you put into it. And there are so many super folks out there willing to help, like Mark and Rochelle and many others. I've built 4 stores so far and I've spent a little bit of money and a LOT of time. But as I look back, there are many things that are getting easier, I've learned how to do alot on my own and with help, and I want to keep learning. If all of my stores fell flat on their face and never made a dime, which I know won't happen, I can honestly say it was all worth it because if nothing else, I'm doing something I enjoy, I've met some great people, and I've learned things that I can apply to other parts of my life and who knows where that could take me! I love the book I'm reading and I talk about it a little at my <a href="http://www.squidoo.com/foundmyniche" rel="nofollow">www.squidoo.com/foundmyniche</a> I've started (shameless Plug) ha! But there is sooo much more to life than making money! And I love this new venture for so many more reasons than the final buck!
